James S. Rickards Middle School Groundbreaking Ceremony for New School Building
Part of More Than $82 Million in Capital Improvements at This School

A celebration and groundbreaking ceremony will take place for James S. Rickards Middle School’s new school building, which includes classrooms, administrative offices, music and art rooms, a media center and science labs. There will also be a new indoor gymnasium, ballfields and athletic courts, and other campus upgrades.

The James S. Rickards Middle School community is excited to welcome dignitaries and special guests for the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new school building. This project is funded through the District’s capital improvements budget. This new building is part of a complete campus replacement with a total budget of more than $82 million, which includes $67 million for construction costs and $15 million for ballfields, athletic courts and other campus improvements.
